The Emerson Academy is a unique small school located in Studio City, California. We provide a compassionate, yet challenging learning experience for students in elementary, middle, and high school. The Emerson Academy's curriculum and approach is dedicated to promoting self-esteem, academic confidence, and preparing students for a college career. We provide support programs for home school students. The Emerson Academy is a one-room schoolhouse where students can express their creative spirit through myriad avenues. We encourage students to explore their own innovative impulse by daring to be original. Our approach at the Emerson Academy is project based, with an emphasis on research skills, analysis of literature, and group discussions. Our curriculum exceeds the California State Standards and the National Standards, and includes all requirements in math, English, science, and social studies, as well as foreign language requirements, hands-on science labs, ancient language translations, art history, drama, and physical education.
