Fishburne Military School is an all-male college preparatory school for grades 7-12. Founded in 1879, Fishburne is the oldest and smallest of Virginia's military secondary schools. Cadets learn and grow in a small, structured and caring environment. Class size averages eight students per instructor and FMS boasts a 100% college acceptance rate for seniors over the past four consecutive years. As an Army JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction (held continuously since 1929), Fishburne may nominate qualified candidates to the United States Military Academies.
