Holderness is an Episcopal, college-preparatory school. Utilizing its small size and close-knit community, Holderness strikes a balance between academics and sports, including football, nationally recognized ski teams (alpine, nordic, freestyle, freeride, snowboarding), hockey, lacrosse, and soccer. Holderness is known for its unique job and leadership programs, as well as community service and outdoor program. Carpenter Arts Center provides an art gallery, ceramic, photography, and recording studios. Recent additions include Gallop Fitness Center, Alfond Library/Media Center and renovated Schoolhouse.
