Hyde’s Performing Arts program benefits from the theatre’s sophistication. Set in the rolling farmland of northeastern Connecticut, Woodstock is a haven of open fields and peaceful woodlands.
HYDE SCHOOLS, the leader in character education, is a network of college preparatory schools, with boarding schools in Bath, Maine and Woodstock, Connecticut, serving students grades 9-12 and post-graduate studies and public charter schools in Washington DC and New York, serving students in grades K through 12. Hyde offers a wide range of courses, including AP and Honors and Summer and Orientation programs.
At HYDE SCHOOLS, academics are only part of what we teach. Students get the tools they need to prosper and grow in this challenging world. That’s because our approach to education is entirely different. Our teachers focus on helping students reveal their character and develop the confidence they need to succeed in high school, college and beyond. And the way we teach is different, too. We offer leadership opportunities to all students as well as a dynamic leadership track for eligible students. As a result, HYDE students and families often realize their fullest potential and are uniquely prepared to navigate the tough choices they face in everyday life. Today we serve almost 2,000 students and families in private and public settings.
