The Perkiomen School is an independent, co-educational, college preparatory school dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence within a caring and personalized setting (5 to 1 student teacher ratio). Our curriculum challenges students to become inquisitive and independent learners. We provide opportunities for intellectual and creative exploration within a diverse and trusting environment. In the spring of 2008, Perkiomen students participated in 20 Advanced Placement subjects. Perkiomen seeks to foster self-confidence, respect, and integrity in our students so that they may become responsible citizens in the local and international community.
Perk offers a comprehensive fine and performing arts program to both Middle and Upper School students. Our students may take a variety of music (choral and instrumental) and studio art and dance electives during the academic day. Music
Housed in its own new building, the George K. Allison Middle School Program is an important part of the larger school community. A buzz permeates its bright spaces, the domain of confident tweens and young teens, who just as confidently venture out to take advantage of the rest of the campus.
Perkiomen school’s history of providing an exceptional boarding school experience is long and proud. Our commitment to boarders remains strong and the majority of students reside on campus. Day students actively participate in evening study groups and weekend social activities.
