Located 90 miles north of New York City, Kildonan is a college-preparatory school for students with dyslexia and language-based learning differences. Students study traditional subjects in small classes and develop their skills in one-on-one tutorials. Nightly supervised study halls are part of the academic program. The tutors are carefully trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach. There is a strong emphasis on the arts and healthy activities. All students participate in interscholastic or individual sports.
